Sigh....

So America has spoken: Four more years of idiocy. Well, 1/4 of America. One other quarter was sane enough to vote for Kerry and the remaining 2 quarters didn't even bother voicing their opinion at the polls....including the much anticipated Youth Vote. The VOTE OR DIE campaign flopped in their quest for marching young voters to the polls. Vote or Die? I have a feeling alot of 18 to 25 yr olds are laying dead in America right now. P Diddy? MTV? EMINEM? What 18 year old listens to their opinions anyway? Many... I thought...

One quarter of the US population chose who will run the World's only superpower for the next 4 long years while the rest of the world has to put up with Bush's theocratic policies. Let's put it this way:

America has elected to fart in the air of the world, the air we all share and have to breath.

Forget about Bush having lied about the reasons for going to war in Iraq, sacrificing over 1,100 young americans live's to fight a war only Bush saw a reason for. Forget about the jobs lost, the rise from the Clinton era surplus to the Trillion dollar Bush deficit. Forget about all that.

The UK's Daily Mirror said it best:

A halarious excerpt from a rant inside the paper:
The self-righteous, gun-totin', military lovin', sister marryin', abortion-hatin', gay-loathin', foreigner-despisin', non-passport ownin' red-necks, who believe God gave America the biggest dick in the world so it could urinate on the rest of us and make their land "free and strong".

Now there is much talk about how the most "civilized" and urban states have chosen the route of common sense by voting for Kerry while the rural, lower educated states have voted to keep Dubya.
You must think that I'm just saying this out of anger. Yes, and no! There's actual scientific data to prove this. See for yourself:

IQ averages in US States – best estimate available from SAT and ACT scores:

States that voted for KERRY

104 IQ New Hampshire

103 IQ Oregon, Massachusetts, Wisconsin

102 IQ Connecticut, Illinois, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington

101 IQ Maryland, Michigan, New York

100 IQ California, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island

99 IQ Delaware, Hawaii

95 IQ District of Columbia

Acumulative IQ is 2019 divided by 20 states
Average IQ of Kerry Voter is 101 IQ

States that voted for BUSH
102 IQ Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma

101 IQ Alaska, Missouri, Ohio, Utah, Wyoming

100 IQ Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, South Dakota, Virginia, West Virginia

99 IQ Indiana

98 IQ Florida, Arkansas

97 IQ Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas

96 IQ New Mexico

94 IQ Mississippi, South Carolina

Acumulative IQ is 3077 divided by 31 states
Average IQ of Bush Voter is 99 IQ

I'd like to add to this that exit polls reported on CNN concluded that 8 out of 10 Bush voters responded that Weapons of Mass Destruction have been found in Iraq and 6 out 0f 10 Bush voters believe that Saddam Hussein was somehow to blame for September 11.

Now enough of statistics....

Alot has been said about America now being deeply divided by Republicans who are moderately to deeply religious and enshrine conservative values and the other half of the country who are more liberal and hate the fact that Bush is in office for four more years.

How does this affect us here in Canada? Well, it's been widely reported that many Americans are considering moving to Canada to avoid the possible draft law that would force adult americans to serve in the military. In the past year soldiers have been deserting to Canada because they don't believe in fighting the Iraq war as has been reported by many news organizations.

A columist at the The New York times has even suggested that the blue states (Democrats) join Canada and leave the Red ones to Bush and his hillbillies. We know this is just satire, but hey, it ain't such a bad idea now that I think of it.
Maps redrawing the borders have emerged. I like this one best:

Canada 2.0

Now, I tend to find positive ideas in all negative things and believe it or not, I have found one positive fact about Bush winning this election... or better, one positive fact about Kerry not winning this election....

Four years from now, the USA's economy and international relations will be so ruined that the electorate will see the need to come together to bring forward totally new ideas. Even those with the average IQ of a horse will see that continuing the Republican way is not progressive and will lead the country into further decline. The country will agree that there is a need for a President who can clean up the economy like Bill Clinton did in his 8 years at the Whitehouse and a figure that can mend fences with the international community. This is where the good news comes in: Who better than "The other Clinton"? America is on route to establishing the conditions for electing it's first woman President in a time where a calming figure with excellent interpersonal skills and influence will be imperitive. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you President Rodham-Clinton, Hillary Rodham-Clinton.

...and I'll leave you with that thought.

In the meantime, it's 4 more years of a USA run by a Bush, a Dick and a Colin.
Over and out.
